Doing well by doing good
At True North Employee Benefits, we believe that doing business well and doing good in our communities should go hand in hand. For more than 25 years, our commitment to the Make-A-Wish New Hampshire has been an important part of who we are. Through our annual golf event, holiday gala, and volunteer leadership, we have helped make wishes come true for children and families throughout New Hampshire.
Our involvement with Make-A-Wish is one example of a broader belief at True North: business relationships are built on shared values, trust, and a commitment to something bigger than ourselves. We are proud to be a company that serves our clients, supports our community, and helps create opportunities for others.
We are incredibly grateful to the clients, vendor partners, colleagues, friends, and supporters who have stood beside us throughout this journey. Your generosity, partnership, and belief in the mission of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire have helped turn our commitment into meaningful impact, and have made countless wishes possible.
We invest in our industry
Leading our industry to meaningful change
We believe there is a meaningful difference between working in an industry and investing in it. For decades, True North's leadership has been actively involved in advocating for solutions that result in meaningful improvements in health care and health insurance. That commitment has included national, state, and local leadership; participation on health plan advisory councils; founding industry organizations; and advocating for legislation designed to improve affordability, accessibility, transparency, and the long-term sustainability of employee benefits.
Our leadership has included serving as President of the National Association of Health Underwriters and Chairman of its Legislative Council, as well as leadership roles with state and regional benefits and human resources organizations. We have also served on advisory councils for major health plans and testified before Congress on health care and health insurance legislation.
We believe the professionals advising your organization should understand more than how the industry works today. They should be invested in helping shape where it goes tomorrow. When an advisor invests time, expertise, and leadership in the industry, it demonstrates something important: a commitment to meaningful change, not simply to making a living within the system.
